At Green Lea First School, we know that our Nursery may well be your child’s first experience of sustained contact with adults and children outside your close family and circle of friends. We hope to make the transition from home to school a positive and happy experience for children and their parents. The children experience curriculum learning (Development Matters) and social and personal development (Characteristics of Effective Learning) by extending learning outside of the classroom. We want children to go home bursting with stories of their exciting day at school. 

Our 3 Age Phases are as follows:

• Reception- 4- 5 years old
• Little Learners - Pre School 3-4 years old
• Early Explorers - Nursery 2-3 years old
