Green Lea First School

Green Lea is a  small, nurturing, rural school at the heart of the community situated in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside just outside of Stone. We provide a safe and supportive environment with small class sizes. Every child enjoys Forest School weekly and well-being is paramount. 

At Green Lea First School we 'Learn, Explore' Achieve'.

    Key Stage Two Dodgeball Competition Some of our Year 4 children had an amazing afternoon taking part in the dodgeball competition at a local Trust school, Manor Hill First School. The team showed brilliant determination, team work and sportsmanship throughout and we are so proud to share they came 3rd place A huge thank you to Manor Hill for the hosting the event.     Key Stage 2 Creativity in Action This week our Class 3 children have been exploring the story 'Bear and the Hare', focusing on the themes of friendship, kindness and belonging. Inspired by the book, the children designed and created their very own friendship circles, celebrating the special friends in their lives. #LearnExploreAchieve

    Key Stage Two trip to the Deva Roman Experience Our Class 3 children had a fantastic day stepping back in time at the Deva Roman Experience in Chester. From exploring the ancient Roman streets to discovering what life was like for a solider and citizens, the children were fully immersed in history. As always, our children were absolutely beautifully behaved. Thank you for being a credit to our School. #LearnExploreAchieve #Chester #RomanExperience

    Making Music in Key Stage One Our Key Stage One children have had a brilliant time this week learning how to play the glockenspiel. From exploring different pitch and tempo to performing simple melodies together, they've shown amazing resilience and perservance.
